The global demand for green energy is accelerating and industry needs to take action to meet net zero commitments. Naked Energy has developed innovative technologies tackling the biggest challenge on the road to net zero: the decarbonisation of heat.

Heat accounts for 51% of global energy demand and responsible for ca. 40% of carbon emissions, with it being generated primarily through the burning of fossil fuels. Only 10% of the energy used for heating stems from renewable energy sources.

Naked Energy’s award-winning Virtu solar technology is a high impact, cost effective and versatile solution, delivering the world’s highest energy output. These systems are immediately available with direct impact on carbon emissions on its own or part of an independent renewable energy system.

The Virtu collector combines solar photovoltaic (PV) and solar heat technology to generate both electricity and heat from a single collector. The Virtu collector, which is a pure play solar heat collector, recently received the gold-standard TÜV Rheinland international certification.

The Virtu product range is complemented by Naked Energy’s proprietary digital monitoring platform Clarity 247 , giving customers accurate, ongoing performance data and accessible remote monitoring capabilities.

Naked Energy’s technologies provide an effective hedge for end-customers in the commercial and industrial space against volatile energy prices and enables long-term business planning.

By working with select international distribution and delivery partners Naked Energy has been growing rapidly in recent years and has delivered flagship projects across, amongst others, the industrial, hospitality, agricultural and public sectors.

The business has now launched its Series B investment round to continue its expansion and deliver on its record sales pipeline. Suitably qualified and interested parties can reach out to fahrenheit@psc.com to learn more.
